Making complex money decisions feel unusually clear.
Finance tools tend to throw every number onto the same screen. In this self-initiated concept, clarity had to become an engineering constraint rather than a final coat of polish.
The challenge.
Help independent professionals understand their cash position quickly without hiding useful detail.
How I approached it
I mapped the key decisions users make each week, structured the interface around progressive disclosure and designed a small number of reusable visualization patterns.

Small decisions.
Clear intentions.
Interview-based fictional scenarios and task maps
Token-based component system with deliberate contrast
Keyboard-accessible filters and readable chart alternatives
Performance budgets for charts and dashboard loading
Core reusable chart patterns
Reusable dashboard components
Contrast target in the concept
The outcome is a cohesive demonstration of a finance workflow, not a launched client product or verified business result.
All metrics, scenarios, screens and outcomes are fictional demonstration content. They are not claims of real client results.
